01

Who this service is for

Manufacturers, component suppliers and importers preparing a new tyres type, product range, variant or engineering change for Vietnam.

02

When the service is needed

  • A new product or range is planned for the Vietnamese market.
  • Evidence under UN Regulation No. 30, 54 or 75, as applicable exists, but its relevance and scope require review.
  • A product family and representative sample must be defined.
  • A change may affect testing, certification documentation, markings or COP.
03

What the customer should prepare

  • Complete size range and intended vehicle category.
  • Construction, load index, speed symbol, tread and sidewall markings.
  • Test reports and UNECE approvals with amendment series and extensions.
  • Production site, family logic and launch plan.
04

What LotusTSE does

  • Define the type or family boundary from the actual tyre category, construction, size designation, load index, speed symbol, tread and variant range.
  • Map the applicable requirements under QCVN 34:2024/BGTVT for automobile tyres or QCVN 36:2024/BGTVT for motorcycle and moped tyres and review evidence under UN Regulation No. 30, 54 or 75, as applicable.
  • Check traceability across product, marking, test report, approval document and approval scope.
  • Identify gaps, representative samples, test work, technical-file actions and relevant COP controls.
05

What the customer receives

  • Product-scope and family matrix.
  • Requirements-to-evidence matrix with verification points and gaps.
  • Representative-sample and test-plan proposal.
  • Reviewed technical-document list and prioritized next actions.
06

Risks identified and reduced

The review helps identify mixing incompatible tyre categories, selecting a non-representative size, mismatching markings and documents, or assuming an E-mark alone establishes Vietnamese compliance, reducing avoidable repeat work and late documentation changes. UNECE evidence is reviewed case by case and is not presented as automatically accepted in Vietnam.

07

Project coordination

How the project is managed

The parties agree the scope, deliverables, responsibilities and indicative milestones before work starts. A LotusTSE technical focal point tracks work items, information awaiting customer input, identified risks and next actions. Milestones that depend on an authority, laboratory or other external organization are updated against actual status.

What to send for an initial review

Send a product or facility description, the proposed configuration or scope, country of origin, available technical evidence, the issue to be resolved and the target timing. LotusTSE will identify the most important missing inputs before proposing the scope of services, deliverables, coordination method, indicative schedule and fees.
