When the service is needed
- A new product or range is planned for the Vietnamese market.
- Evidence under UN Regulation No. 124, when applicable exists, but its relevance and scope require review.
- A product family and representative sample must be defined.
- A change may affect testing, certification documentation, markings or COP.
What the customer should prepare
- Rim range, intended vehicle applications and rated loads.
- Material, manufacturing method, dimensions, drawings and markings.
- Test reports and UNECE approvals with covered variants.
- Production-site and representative-sample proposal.
What LotusTSE does
- Define the type or family boundary from the actual material, construction method, diameter, width, offset, fixing pattern, load and variant range.
- Map the applicable requirements under QCVN 78:2024/BGTVT for light-alloy automobile rims or QCVN 113:2024/BGTVT for motorcycle and moped rims and review evidence under UN Regulation No. 124, when applicable.
- Check traceability across product, marking, test report, approval document and approval scope.
- Identify gaps, representative samples, test work, technical-file actions and relevant COP controls.

Risks identified and reduced
The review helps identify grouping rims with different construction or load characteristics, selecting a sample that does not cover the intended range, or relying on an approval that does not match the actual dimensions and markings, reducing avoidable repeat work and late documentation changes. UNECE evidence is reviewed case by case and is not presented as automatically accepted in Vietnam.
